| | A native of Dayton, Chip earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Miami University in 1980, spending his senior year at the Miami University European Center, Grand Duche of Luxembourg. Chip returned to Dayton to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1983. Prior to entering private practice, Chip served several years in the litigation section of the Columbus City Attorney's office, where he specialized in complex construction litigation and served as the city's chief counsel on zoning matters. Chip is the principal in the Firm who handles most of our clients’ significant civil litigation and criminal defense matters. Having maintained his expertise in the area of municipal law, he also continues to serve clients in matters involving local governmental entities, particularly in the areas of zoning, land development, and regulatory matters. Chip is a member of the litigation sections of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. |
