Attorney Chip Viets heads up our administrative law practice, including zoning and other regulatory proceedings before local and state governmental agencies. Attorney Viets practiced for several years in the City Attorney’s office in Columbus, where he represented the Columbus Development Department in various regulatory matters, including the interpretation and application of the City’s zoning and graphics codes. Attorney Viets has also appeared before many other governmental agencies that involve licensing, permits, taxation and other regulatory matters. Administrative law is a unique and important aspect of our client representation. Whether protecting an individual from the loss or suspension of a personal or business license, or assisting a business in the proper zoning or graphics permitting processes, experience in navigating the local codes and state statutes that govern the administrative proceedings is a necessity.
